  • What happened to the passion?

When this podcast began the narrators were full of so much passion for the story they were reading. Lately the passion seems to have gone. Just listened to an episode of a tour of a biscuit factory (what a wonderful episode idea) read by someone who sounds like they’re trying to send me to sleep, instead of the excitement of a young Charlie Bucket like I would’ve expected.

  • Really uneven

Like most Stuff stuff, this cast swings between the confident, informed and even stylish journalism that is such a rarity in this country and the scourge of algorithm-driven struggle pieces that are the epitome of cringe. I can’t love it, but the best is good.
