Dedicated to Female-Identifying Killers in Horror Each episode will feature Jenn, Sammie, and Rachel discussing a female-identifying killer in the horror genre—and sometimes the wider world of cinema—from Julia and Jennifer to Carrie and Christine. We’ll tell the story from her point of view, decide if it’s “Good For Her” Horror, and answer the most important question of all: would we die for her?... more

Really love the pod, incredibly insightful and considerate. Loved the recent episode on Bride of Frankenstein. I hope to see more older horror films, there’s so many to delve into.
Really smart, insightful takes on horror and the world of women in horror …. told with a fun, engaging bloody flourish! Highly recommend!
I listened to the recent Beguiled podcast and enjoyed hearing all three perspectives. Hope to hear more of Shelby Novak on here as she provided some great analysis of the film.
I love this podcast. I love how it focuses on women and women in horror films and how this show is a deep dive on the movie it’s covering. Content centers around female-identifying killers in horror films, with each episode delving into specific characters and narratives. The discussions often highlight themes of empowerment, identity, and societal expectations surrounding femininity, all within the context of both classic and contemporary horror cinema. Unique angles such as analyzing characters from a feminist perspective, alongside personal anecdotes related to love, marriage, and trauma, create a rich landscape where film critique and personal storytelling coexist. This approach likely resonates with listeners who value critical explorations of gender dynamics in film.
