My gosh stop talking over each other!!!!
This is a good show but I would change one thing ... It gets grating and difficult to listen to when there are 3 or more ladies and they all talk over each other. You can’t hear what they are saying so it is to their detriment because we don’t hear the points they are making, just a bunch of chattering. I am interested in what they have to say, so I wish they would give each other space to finish speaking before jumping in over each other.
I found the Lady Killers through the Losers’ Club pod, of which I have been an enthusiastic member for several years now. Ever since my first Lady K episode (Fargo), I was instantly hooked! Jen, Sammie, Mae & Rocco have great banter and always bring new, refreshing perspectives to the films I’ve always loved. It’s been such a blast revisiting these movies for the first time as an adult woman and I truly find myself gaining copious amounts of insight from this group on various topics and themes a... more
Love the dynamics and discussions of the back catalogue, covers a great range of mainstream and deep cut movies; but catching a few recent eps it seems the presenter line up has changed, and the new 4 talk over each other in a way that’s confusing and hard to follow (maybe it’s a change in editor too?)

A feminist-leaning horror discussion show where four female-identifying hosts dissect films centered on women killers, analyzing gender dynamics, power, and ethics while weighing whether a character is a “Good For Her” horror heroine. Episodes blend rigorous film analysis with personal stories, pop culture lore, and humor, creating a warm, opinionated community that treats cinema as both intellectual pursuit and entertaining banter. Notable throughlines include a commitment to diverse perspectives, a focus on scenes that challenge patriarchal norms, and a penchant for connecting movie analysis to broader social issues and personal experiences.
