Thanks guys. I really appreciate the content. They do a good job of keeping banter and silliness out of the conversation, but yet keeping the conversation engaging. I also appreciate the confessionally reformed guard rails. Without it, the content would quickly go off into La La Land, like 99% of the other podcast in this vain. Keep up the good work!
I have been listening for a few weeks now, and I have finally caught myself up! I encourage anyone listening to start from the beginning. I appreciate Jon & Doug’s take on the spiritual kingdom. As a Reformed Baptist myself, there is pressure to adopt tradition without first consulting the scriptures. Not so with Jon & Doug. They explain the spiritual kingdom from a plain, spiritual understanding of the scriptures, but they do it from a pastoral level & from an historical/redemptive perspective.... more
