Guys, in principle, I love the idea of this show. And I really like their selection of guests. The problem is, they pick a really interesting guest, and ask him a really interesting question…. Then instead of letting him answer it, they keep interrupting with their own random thoughts, right when he is getting to his conclusion. This has happened in at least 10 different episodes I’ve heard, it is not a one-off mistake. The Will Acuff episode was the worst.
Fellas, PLEASE, watch Shawn Ryan and... more
Let your guests get their thoughts out. Stop interrupting. Seriously, stop.
It's not doing you guys any favors by derailing interesting guest stories. Stop.
Good luck if you’re not a member u get maybe an episode a month and 99% of the time it’s the same ppl. Anything that’s worth listening to is behind a paywall
Classic Protestant misinformation, everyone interpreting the Bible however they want…. Reckless. Listened to one where the guest legit just lies about Catholics and no one corrected a thing, cause no one knows anything, and then the actual guest is a pastor …. But like didn’t know basic facts about the Bible…. Just make up what you want to hear
This podcast has bridged the gap between bible stories, ghost stories and everything in between. As someone who grew up Christian but was interested in spirituality, supernatural things, cryptids and myths this has made my faith make more sense in the world we live in, instead of separate from the world. It’s given so much context for the bible and has helped me understand that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is so so good to us!

Blurry Creatures explores the intersection of faith, folklore, and the supernatural through long-form conversations with witnesses, researchers, and authors. Topics commonly orbit cryptids (notably Bigfoot and Dogman), ancient myths, biblical interpretation of myth and prophecy, UFOs, and occult themes, with a steady emphasis on how these ideas relate to Christian thought and modern culture. The show blends personal testimonies with scholarly or investigative angles, often tracing how a single encounter can spark broader inquiry, while inviting controversial or unconventional viewpoints. A notable strength is the hosts' willingness to engage with a wide range of guests—from theologians and researchers to experiencers—within a Biblically ori... more
