Consolidating a JRR Tolkien length review, I’ll simply state the facts: a solid & highly enjoyable/insightful/rad podcast. Intellectually & spiritually sound. Thank you.
I absolutely love this podcast. It’s engaging, insightful, and packed with fascinating information. The range of guests is impressive, and each one brings thoughtful perspectives—not only from their area of expertise, but also from the Bible, history, and current world events.
If I could offer one piece of feedback, it would be about the frequency of interruptions from Nate. There are times when a guest is explaining something or responding to a thoughtful question, and Nate interjects—sometime... more
Just an aside, I was brought back to Christianity by Dr. Heiser. The Church needs answers to our questions about the supernatural. We need to be honest about our old Biblical teachings because the Church is not catching up. Materialism is failing and Augustine theology is lacking. The more I study, the more I realize the Bible (post Dead Se... more
Just a great show, with the right amount of seriousness and witty banter. These guys are great and us Gen X’rs can really relate to all the nostalgia. Also, love the outro music so much that I listen to it in its entirety for every show!!!
Fantastic show, but the “members only” for most of the episodes is a deal breaker for me. Being a faith-based podcast, thought you might want to keep open to everyone. Lots of complaints about this, maybe an explanation to your listeners is in order. Plenty of great podcasts without a pay wall.
