Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Golden Rays Of Sunshine Rewatch (Episode 66)
Q: How long would a class take for this painting, if you were teaching it?
This would be about an hour and a half or maybe two hours of instruction.
Golden Rays Of Sunshine Rewatch (Episode 66)
Q: Do you do a practice run for the painting? How does that work?
Whenever I have an idea, I create a prototype of the painting in my head and work it up. It evolves as I refine it over the years.
Golden Rays Of Sunshine Rewatch (Episode 66)
Q: Is it true? I've heard that it's harder to paint a straight line than it is a crooked line. Is that true?
If you look at any line in this painting, there are zero straight lines. Even if your hand is shaky, you'll make better branches if your hand is a little bit shaky.
Golden Rays Of Sunshine Rewatch (Episode 66)
Q: How did you get started with Bob Ross and landscape painting in the first place?
I was stationed at the University of Idaho. I saw a craft store that advertised painting like Bob Ross, and since I don't have the patience for long painting sessions, I thought it would be fun to try a quick painting in 30 minutes.
Super Bob! (Episode 65)
Q: How does Bob Ross fit into the Comic-Con universe?
His creativity and ability to inspire others aligns perfectly with the creative energy of the con, appealing to both artists and fans.
