- You can’t take the dystopia out of cyberpunk
To people saying they don’t want to hear political discourse in a cyberpunk pod, you don’t really understand the genre. It is inherently political and I personally love “dystopia talk”. I don’t always agree with their criticisms of whatever media they are covering, but I enjoy hearing them.

I listened to several episodes, and while I enjoyed the relevant subject matter when they veered into politics, which happens frequently, I just didn’t want to hear it. I’m tired of hearing everyone’s personal manifesto while I just wanted to hear a breakdown and some recommendations of good sci-fi. Especially when the politics discussed aren’t even tangentially related to the media being discussed.
TLDR: If you don’t mind political sidebars you’ll like the show.
