  • History revisited that’s more important than ever now…

This man’s family story brings history to life. With the rise of fascism in the works once again, stories such as these must be told and HEARD by people today.

Thank you for sharing such a personal account of your family and sharing your own struggle reconciling it all.

Your story is relayed in such a compelling and touching way.

  • Real story, keep it real

Interesting story. The exaggerated narrator voice of the host is a pity though, his normal voice is much nicer to listen to.

  • Emotional and timely

I highly recommend this podcast. It was heartbreaking to listen to at times, but very timely given everything going on in the world right now. It supplemented my visit to the special exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum “Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away.” If you are in Toronto, I would highly recommend the special exhibit, which is at the ROM until September 2025. Thank you for sharing your family’s story!

Zionists are waging their own holocaust against Palestinians; enacting genocide against a population of 55% children. I don’t care about the Lolocaust. There is nothing more that can be told about it. Nothing Jews don’t already more. As the granddaughter of survivors of four genocides, including the holocaust, I find the influx of holocaust stories offensive as it’s clear the intent is meant to justify the genocide of Palestinians. Palestinian children are not proxies for Germans. Germans paid r... more

Q: Courtney, tell me what to do. Should I get my German citizenship?
Plainly, yes. I think that if we have a responsibility to the dead, some of it is to learn the lessons that they can pass on to us, that they can teach us.
