Exhibit A on “how to ruin an interesting and informative podcast with ludicrously over-dramatic music and narration.” Just play it straight.
This series is absolutely fantastic, the insight, the facts and the storylines. But season 3 is unfortunately made unbearable with the narrators delivery. Looking forward to season 4.
It’s an emotional ride, because you know what’s coming towards the end of the series. Presenter Maggie is a Space Scientist, so you’d expect a degree of enthusiasm and an understanding, more than most of us, of the technical, engineering involved. Really enjoyed this new season, gripping stuff!
Earlier seasons were incredible, and it’s a story that I never tire of hearing. So I was thrilled to hear Season 3 would cover the Space Shuttle and Maggie would be presenting. I love Dr Maggie, and her passion for space is absolutely vivid and contagious. I don’t understand people complaining about having a different voice on here. Loved the series and the ‘behind the scenes’ stories that even a full NASA/Space Shuttle nerd like me hadn’t heard before. Can’t wait for season 4!
