As a foster and adoptive mom, the struggle to learn more, give more and find encouragement is real. It’s so easy to be overwhelmed by the need and the brokenness. This podcast gives me hope again and again, often bringing me to tears and always pointing me back to the true healing found in Jesus. Episode 134 is one of the most compelling I’ve listened too so far and has inspired me to get back on my knees pleading for healing for my kids with deep, deep wounds.
As an adoptive (out of foster care) mom, I have been deeply encouraged by the forgotten podcast so many times over the years. This podcast brings me gospel perspective when things are hard & when things are good. Thank you, forgotten podcast!!!
I’ve been a listener of this podcast since 2019, and it’s invaluable to me. As an adoptee who grew up with violence, it’s also healing and educa... more
My husband and I both listen to every episode! We are first year foster parents and we can’t get enough of this podcast. We’ve learned so much from so many different perspectives. We feel supported and encouraged and pointed to Jesus heart every time we listen. Thankful for this resource!
The interviews are wide-ranging and have great perspective and info! I do wish the host spent less time trying to always relate things back to herself and her story.
