I’ve enjoyed every episode of this podcast and have shared many with friends. I have come to love and admire Courtney and Melissa through their writing, teaching, and now their conversations—they love the Lord and their joy in Him is contagious. I’ve found practical help (evangelism conversations episode), conviction (covetousness episode), wisdom (many episodes but particularly the ones on limits and waiting and aging), and I’ve been encouraged and equipped (episodes on mentoring, prayer, God’s... more
I am thankful for this podcast. It’s made up of the types of conversations I desire to have with my fellow sisters (and brothers) in Christ. The questions and discussions spur me on to talk deeply about the things of God with fellow believers, and the question prompts help me to think about what thoughtful questions look like. Thank you!
The conversations Cortney and Melissa have spur the listener to think more deeply about very practical topics and encourages us to live in line with what God’s word says on those topics. I love to hear the sincere and genuine dialogues, as well as being pointed toward God’s perspective on it all and how we can live in light of those truths. Super encouraging. Super practical.
If you’re looking for Biblically rich, nuanced conversations about Christian living, then this is a great podcast! Courtney and Melissa are wise and thoughtful and bring a refreshingly gospel perspective to many different issues. They have a good sense of humour and it feels like having a cuppa with a bunch of friends!
I love listening to the Deep Dish each week! Courtney & Melissa challenge me to examine how I’m living, help uncover the areas that need work, keep my eyes on Jesus, and remind me that I’m not alone. Their honesty and maturity is refreshing and so appreciated. My walk with Jesus is better because of The Deep Dish :) Keep up the wonderful work, ladies. Cheering you on!
