  • Says MMMMM a lot

I have a hard time finding Christian podcasts by women that I enjoy. Female hosts have at least one of two habits: they laugh uproariously at things that aren’t funny or they constantly say, “mmmmmm.” Unfortunately, Hunter has the latter habit. Even though I’ve enjoyed some of the content, it’s hard to get past all the aggressive “mmmm’s.” Sorry, Hunter, nothing personal!

  • So encouraged!

Love her voice, she’s so easy to listen too! Love so far the interviews I’ve heard!

My husbands deployed and honestly it’s so nice to just listen to someone talk about things important to me in the background! You’ve been such a blessing to listen too! Keep up the great work!

  • A gift of a podcast!

Journeywomen has been such a gift to me, especially on days when my arms are full of little ones and my mental capacity is stretched. I am always so encouraged by the episodes and reminded of the goodness of God and his word. Hunter’s knowledge of and hunger for God’s word is such an encouragement for my own journey!

When Good Things Aren’t Enough with Joanna Kimbrel
Q: What does it mean to be satisfied in Christ rather than chasing created things?
Joanna explains that satisfaction comes from aligning desires with God's purposes, found in Scripture, and through ongoing relationship with Him, rather than seeking fulfillment in people, status, or comfort.
The Grace of Sanctification with Andreas and Marny Köstenberger
Q: How does sanctification relate to parenting and discipling children?
Sanctification is presented as the work of the Spirit, enabling parents to guide children toward Christ, while recognizing that true obedience comes from grace rather than self-effort; the law serves to reveal need, not provide the power to obey.
The Grace of Sanctification with Andreas and Marny Köstenberger
Q: What sparked the idea to write sanctification from a biblical theology perspective?
Marny was initially asked to write for a mentoring series, but she realized the project fit better within the biblical theology framework, which led to her Short Studies in Biblical Theology volume and collaboration with Andreas.
The King and His Kingdom with Sam Emadi
Q: How can we think about the Kingdom of God, and do you have a working definition for it?
The Kingdom is defined as God's people in God's place under God's rule and blessing, a framework that ties creation, the fall, and redemption together and explains how Christ fulfills the promises to Abraham and David.
Honesty with God with Jess Ray
Q: What would you tell someone in a season of doubt who wants to stay near to God?
Be still, pray in your own voice, don't overthink the right words, and invite God into daily life and conversations with safe people who can encourage you.
