  • Riter & Graham

Brad Riter & Tim Graham have been awesome! Really hope WGR keeps them on from 1-3p now that the state run Bills show is finally gone.

  • Sal totally hopped on the bus!

Never thought I’d hear Sal so quickly join the narrative that the SINGLE reason the Bills didn’t EVER make the Super Bowl was Sean! I guess when your job is on the line and you have to follow your boss you do. Receipt-give two years and still no Bowl will he call for Beanie to finally accept the blame? After all that’s what the media’s job is to assign THE BLAME.

  • Sal is my favorite PT Bills-caster!!

I listen every time Sal is on. Show deteriorates when it’s the other two.

As for everybody else they expect everyone and person in Bills land to be perfect all pro coaches gm’s EVERY time. What a joke!! Have some humility and show some grace.

Reminder how WRONG media was from first to last game of exciting, wonderful, unexpected season that like Al 31 teams ALWAYS ends in heartbreak

  • Sal is my favorite Bills-caster!!

I listen every time Sal is on. He’s interesting, but not hyperbolic or TOO excitable. His ace factors making him so interesting are years of broadcasting and sidelines reporting.

1/22/23. Never thought I’d delete a whole show after listening to several minutes and seeing the segment titles. Why are all Buffalo casters wrapped up in what it will take to FIRE McDermott! All they talk about. Except Steph.

    Sorry Sal, you’re off today.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2 - Paul Hamilton on the Sabres locker cleanout and offseason ideas for the Sabres
Q: Are there specific trade targets or strategies the Sabres should consider this off-season rather than waiting for free agency?
Yes, the discussion centers on pursuing trades for impact players like Robert Thomas or Matthew Nyes-like assets, leveraging the prospect pool, and using younger players to balance cap hit and future potential rather than relying on high-cost free agents.
Hour 2 - Paul Hamilton on the Sabres locker cleanout and offseason ideas for the Sabres
Q: How might the three-goalie setup change the roster next season and what role could the emergency backup play?
The three-goalie approach, including the possibility of using an e-bug as a fourth goaltender under certain circumstances, could be a practical solution that allows the Sabres to manage injuries and development paths without sacrificing depth.
Hour 2 - Paul Hamilton on the Sabres locker cleanout and offseason ideas for the Sabres
Q: What is the biggest early-season decision the Sabres face in terms of contract structure for the core players?
The biggest decision revolves around structuring contracts to preserve cap flexibility, especially for keeping Benson and Byrom, while avoiding an eight-year deal for a player like Tuck that could hamstring moves for several years.
Sal Capaccio on Bills Rookie Mini Camp starting
Q: Do you have a specific player you're going to be kind of keeping an eye on here as we get rolling?
Sal indicates Skyler Bell and Jermaine Burton are the players of primary interest, with a focus on how they translate from film to on-field performance and how they fit into the Bills' scheme, alongside some other rookies like Jude Bowery.
Hour 1 - Previewing Game 2 of Sabres vs. Montreal and Sal Capaccio on Bills Rookie Mini Camp
Q: What can we expect from Bills rookie minicamp today?
Unsigned picks should participate; most likely all drafted players will be at camp, with the caveat that some may still be unsigned but allowed to participate. They will check in with media after practice to share first impressions.
