E12: Davide Carrera - The Power of Vulnerability
Q: And so, obviously, like when you take a step back and look at it from further away, it's very easy to see failure as a part of success. But when you are experiencing it in the moment, it can seem like the end of the world.
Davide acknowledges that while it can be frustrating to experience failure, it is a learning opportunity about oneself, and letting go of expectations is critical.
E12: Davide Carrera - The Power of Vulnerability
Q: Can you describe maybe two different times where you really, really felt like, okay, now you are more in your pushing ego side and then where you are more in your surrendered childlike playful?
Davide explains experiencing ups and downs throughout his career, emphasizing that true strength comes from letting go of seriousness, enjoying the freedom and playfulness of the water, and recognizing when he was pushing himself too hard.
E11: Eugen Goettling - Discipline under pressure
Q: So up until this point, you said there was a phase when you accepted it. So up until that point, do you feel like it's something that you would not have accepted?
Yes, I thought I could just push through any fear until I learned to accept it and then move past it.
E11: Eugen Goettling - Discipline under pressure
Q: So is there a time where getting more into the freediving scene that we know now and surrounding yourself with other divers, is there a moment where you changed your approach?
Yes, I started learning other techniques and focused more on relaxation and meditation rather than just pushing through.
E10: Gus Kreivenas - Honesty, Patience & Love
Q: Can you tell us more about the three concepts of honesty, patience, and love?
These concepts are essential as they guide my teaching and interactions, influencing how we establish relationships and achieve personal growth.
