While the first few episodes are a bit shaky (and a cast change), it’s been a real pleasure to follow along as audio quality and banter quality improve over the years! The gang have a great dynamic going, and the “new reader” angle makes for a great book club format.
The analysis is shallow at best, and the droning regurgitation of what we’ve all already read is hard to stomach. I made it through 1.5 episodes…
This is a fun way to go through the Cosmere. The review section is a great recap and the spoiler sections have interesting discussions and analyses.
This podcast is my “good thing”. Dave’s bullet points are fantastic. Great listening to you all.
I love the quality content, particularly Dave’s bullet points. Mike’s comments toward Craig are sometimes cringy and hard to listen to, but it hasn’t turned me away yet. Dave’s fresh perspective combined with a deeper discussion make for a great podcast.
