Amanda keeps it real in these conversations. One of my favorite podcasts. The conversations are thought provoking, engaging and grounded. I learn so much…every time! Love the substack NL too! Keep up the great work.
Short yet significant conversations. Having watched them many years ago I am now hearing something different with decades more life experience. A must listen♥️
Thank you Amanda for this interview which deeply resonates with me, as a professional who works with bereaved children and parents, and also a recently bereaved daughter. I appreciated the realness of how grief can show up, and especially touching on how we can create a continuing bond with the loved one we have lost. I agree that we need a school curriculum on grief and loss to help children’s grief be seen and validated by all, and I’d love to talk to you about this.
I love this series so much but oh my god the interrupting! Please be more aware of this. It often happens at the worst times too when the guest is saying something really beautiful or imparting wisdom and you are just interrupting them mid thought. Extremely disrespectful and bad for the listener.
I love these conversations and Amanda knows how to truly listen (not wait to speak), whilst also asking rich questions that allow her guests to go deeper. I particularly loved the Jamie Curtis one, oh and Billie piper, and Tiffany haddidsh and and…! You get the picture. Cancel your plans. Listen, learn and grow. Enjoy xxx
