I first found Marie on Instagram and immediately began listening to this podcast. She provides fantastic perspectives and food for thought, and I find myself thinking about her words all the time. She’s very compassionate and has a very approachable way to learn more about a variety of issues. I recommend her all the time.
For subject matter that is often charged, Marie does a great job making it calm and a discussion that everyone can/should participate in. She makes episodes I can share with anyone and start the discussion. She makes the topic accessible for those who don’t know how to start it or who they could go to to have it with.
I so appreciate the perspective and approach to learning that Marie offers through this podcast. She often echoes thoughts I’ve had but haven’t been able to put to words or explain, and she does so thoroughly and eloquently. I’ve learned so much and it’s easy to listen to in an educational yet conversational tone. Thank you for sharing your work!
Just listened to the ‘Critical Race Theory in 20 minutes’ episode and am SO impressed. The host breaks it down and explains it so clearly. Such a refreshing change from watching people on YouTube debate these topics with the sole purpose of wining an argument instead of comprehension.
I really enjoy these episodes. I’ve been listening to one a week with a group of friends and it’s such a great way for us to learn and examine how these topics show up in our lives and minds. Thank you Marie!!
