  • Different viewpoints

Great show discussing great topics and guests. I like its balance as it’s a moderate libertarian viewpoint that could actually become mainstream compared to some of the “purist” libertarians.

Great ideas rather to make America better rather than the mainstream media focused on echo chambers focused on how their part of America is good and the other side is bad

You conflate Portland with libertarians. You conflate victimless crime with property crimes where there are victims.

You need to search your soul and mind. You may have some points, but destroy your credibility by your ignorance.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AI Expert Explains the DEATH of Google Search | TBNS 1082
Q: How does the concept of a 'source of truth' interact with current AI systems and credential verification?
A verified source of truth acts as the anchor that AI uses to assess credibility; it should be immutable and auditable so AI can reliably reflect true credentials and avoid misinforming users.
AI Expert Explains the DEATH of Google Search | TBNS 1082
Q: What steps should professionals take to protect their identity and credibility online?
Create a canonical source of truth with verifiable credentials, including publications, podcasts, and certificates, and consider blockchain-backed solutions to prevent identity collisions.
AI Expert Explains the DEATH of Google Search | TBNS 1082
Q: Can you explain the practical difference between AI suggesting and recommending in everyday professional use?
AI can suggest based on data and patterns, but humans should provide the final, context-aware recommendation that considers emotions, empathy, and nuanced understanding of a situation.
Is A Carbon Tax Really the "Free Market" Climate Answer? | TBNS 1081
Q: What is the practical way to handle international aspects, like carbon content in imported goods?
Rely on coordination with trading partners and potentially a content-based tax at the border, recognizing that diplomacy is needed to harmonize carbon price signals across major economies and avoid price-shifting behavior.
Is A Carbon Tax Really the "Free Market" Climate Answer? | TBNS 1081
Q: How would the carbon tax interact with Social Security and other federal programs?
The guest argues that an upstream carbon tax could broaden the tax base and potentially stabilize Social Security funding by expanding the base, though it wouldn't solve all structural issues; reform would still be needed for long-term sustainability.
