I wish the show had less of a political bias. We really need to get away from this right/left dichotomy nonsense. Just shows that despite someone being supposedly highly trained for CIA operations, they don’t have much free rain inside of their minds to make independent assessments which are critical for the safety and efficacy of US operations.
As a former US Navy nuclear operator/technician, I am reasonably certain that, if the nuclear plant has been shut down for 2+ years, the danger from overheating is negligible. This situation is concerning, but it is certainly not a crisis. (Aside from that, diesels running for this long might constitute an actual miracle.)
