  • Stop blaming the boomers for everything.

The Baby Boomer generation is generally defined as those born between 1946 and 1964. To determine the age range of their children in 2025, we need to consider typical childbearing ages and do some basic calculations.

Baby Boomers were born from 1946 to 1964, making them 61 to 79 years old in 2025. People often have children between their 20s and 30s, though this can vary. For Boomers, this means most had children between the mid-1960s and the 1980s, with some extending into the early 1990s.

  • Canada is much worse

Canada is a Fascist country and our government explicitly said it won’t ban red dye in our food. Canadians have been told they are “nice” since day one, we have no rights (see article 1 of our charter) and are the only people in the world that define themselves as not being a different country (US). We also work 252 days of the year to pay taxes so our politicians can live extravagantly. Please help us or at least stop comparing your woes to ours! Not even close!!!!

  • Assange, Ukraine

Julian Assange should not have even been charged, should not have been forced to plead guilty.

Russia has zero credibility to complain about any attack simply because they attacked Ukraine. The USA should not be involved and both the USA and Russia have been provoking each other for my entire life. Still, everything boils down to the fact that Russia attacked Ukraine and as a result should expect that Ukraine will strike back.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MADD: Can a Convention of the States Slash Gov. Overreach?
Q: Are there any guarantees or timelines built into this process, or could Congress delay indefinitely by kicking the can down the road?
There are no hard guarantees on timing beyond the constitutional framework; however, the states can pressure Congress to call the convention, and the process for delegate selection is left to the states, with a push to reach two-thirds support at the state level.
MADD: Can a Convention of the States Slash Gov. Overreach?
Q: Tell me a little bit more about the practical aspects of how this would work. How would a Convention of the States actually function? What does that look like once we get to 34 states?
Once 34 states pass resolutions, Congress's role is to call the time, place, and purpose of the convention. The convention would operate with one state, one vote, manage its own rules, form committees, and debate amendments, with final passage needing a 50%+1 vote and then ratification by 38 states.
FF: Talking Money and Baseball with my Daughter
Q: Who has the biggest contract in baseball and how is it structured?
Shohei Ohtani is described as having the largest contract, with the Dodgers deferring a significant portion of payments to be paid over roughly twenty years, illustrating a strategy to manage long-term payroll commitments.
FF: Talking Money and Baseball with my Daughter
Q: What is arbitration in baseball salaries?
Arbitration is a process where an independent judge adjudicates a player's salary after their initial three years of service, using statistics and formulas to determine pay, often resulting in a higher figure than the team's offer.
FF: Talking Money and Baseball with my Daughter
Q: How much money do baseball players usually get paid at the end of each year?
The discussion explains that players are paid throughout the year, with a complex system beginning from MLB minimums in the early years, moving into arbitration where salaries are determined by performance, and eventually reaching free agency after six to seven years depending on contracts.
