  • I've been listening to Dan's podcast for almost 15 years, and it's always entertaining. His self-deprecating approach is relatable and humorous.

  • Still subscribed after more than 10 years!

Dan Klass is one of the original podcasters. His sense of humour, ability to weave a compelling story, and genuine responses to everyday life are why this show is still popular after more than a decade.

  • Yawn

I thought I would give this a try. Listening to someone talk about turning their phone off and complain about dad stuff. I just didn't think he was funny. I had hopes of liking it, but alas, I didn't.

  • A Self-Deprecating Classic

I’ve been listening to The Bitterest Pill since the beginning, and while Dan's wry style may not appeal to everyone, I’ve found it be very enjoyable. Through the daily toils of raising kids, keeping your house from falling into disrepair and dealing with customer “service” reps, it helps me realize that I’m not alone in my struggles with modern life in America. I actually visited the “crazy chicken” place he’s mentioned while I was visiting California this summer, and enjoyed that too. more

  • Dan could make a gripping story out of anything

Great comedic storytelling about day to day life and family under the flight path at LAX. One of the best one-person podcasts I've come accross. Love it.
