The stories used to be interesting and fun. Now it feels fictional. Ben prompts these guests to fill in blanks to make a story interesting. But it just feels fake. A ten year old handling her mother’s budget? Get real. Unfortunately unfollowing.
I listened to the confessions from a celebrity make-up artist episode. I understand that the make-up artist feels derogated, but the revenge acts described are serious instances of violent physical assault. Spitting and using personal fluids to contaminate fluids consumed by others needs to be reported immediately. This is not entertainment.
This podcast educates me, informs me, and makes me laugh a whole lot!
I used to look forward to this show but recently it’s been a HARD listen. The stories used to be full of twists and turns with a variety of guests. Lately it’s been young women sharing their stories about how they plowed through red flags and lo and behold things went poorly.
I’ve listened to a lot of podcast over the years, but this one has me hooked.
The stories are absolutely fascinating and authentic because the story tells themselves are mostly anonymous, and have nothing to get out of what they tell other than being able to tell the truth in a safe place.
Ben manages to mirror the listeners incredulity, but in a kind way, but some of the comments he makes are hilarious without being mean!
