I have a lot of respect for Bill’s commitment to honouring survivors and spreading awareness on intimate partner abuse. Having listened to a lot of episodes it’s really helpful to hear those emerging patterns that typify these dynamics, regardless of the abuser or type of abuse being perpetrated. Bill handles these thoughtfully and I’m grateful for his work in this sphere.
I love the details and information! Bill is kind and down to earth dSD who just wants to find out and help others learn the signs of potential violence/red flags. Only concern is the volume on the podcast is quiet and the commercials are DEAFENING 🤪 I am only in 2024 episodes so maybe it gets better?
Thanks!
So glad you removed the three episodes about the “reformed” domestic abuser - I wouldn’t even listen to them because we KNOW they don’t change.
Also, you need a better editor!!! There are so many parts repeated or out of order, on so many episodes, that it makes it hard to follow. The most recent episode just ends abruptly, mid sentence!!
So annoying - but I do love the content and can relate to a lot of these survivor’s stories.
I can’t remember how I found this podcast, but it’s been healing for me to hear so many others’ stories. I think I find a bit (or more than a bit) of myself in every episode. It is such a worthy project. Super job.
This podcast has been very healing for me as a survivor myself. Even after being out for 3 years I still question if it was abusive and man listening to these stories makes me realize 100% that it was. It’s important for victims to know they are not alone. Thanks❤️
