Hi Guys, I regularly listen to your podcasts, today was episode 199.
I agree with the comments about getting younger people to take up the sport, there are so many different things young people can choose today. The dive show could have a special feature for our ‘seal’ divers.
As a DM at a local diver training centre , Dream Divers based in Rotherham ( no where near the sea) I too often see people qualify on OW and then they don’t dive again.

Hi Guys, I regularly listen to your podcasts, I’ve not listened to everyone as I’ve not been listening to podcasts for too long, but I have kept up with the latest ones. I listened to ep192 today. It was interesting to listen to how diving can be promoted and how some other hobbies get traction on some socials more effectively than others. I follow a number of people on you tube and it’s not unusual for them to have 10,000”s of followers, and I’m not really sure that diving in the UK has the sam... more
Started from the beginning and now on episode 100. Amazing content and love listening thank you so much. I’ve learnt a lot and maybe one day I’ll have something to share 😍
A really enjoyable podcast, Gemma and Ian are very genuine and down to earth - their passion for life above and below the surface shows in every episode.
Great diving podcast. Each episode is based around an interview and the guests are usually really interesting. They come from a wide variety of marine-related backgrounds, so the talk is relevant to diving and interesting to divers but it's not endless chat about dive kit, techniques, locations, etc. But they do still talk about diving too. Also, they manage to avoid any bias towards any particular training agency, which is very refreshing. Recommended podcast for any diver.

A UK-based, ocean-focused show that blends light-hearted banter with in-depth conversations about diving, gear, and marine conservation. Episodes feature a mix of technical dives, equipment spotlights, and interviews with divers, instructors, photographers, and conservation advocates, reflecting a strong community orientation and a push toward broader accessibility for new and younger divers. Noteworthy elements include a hands-on approach to tech (rebreathers, ROVs), regional dive scenes, and collaborations with brands and nonprofits that spotlight education, safety, and environmental stewardship.
