  • Highlight of the week

Amazing podcast. Love each of your personalities and what you bring to the show. Iain and Andrew are some of the best broadcasters ever and Eddie is just one of a kind. Too often do these podcasts have ‘celebrity’ hosts with no broadcast experience. TCF changes the game. Let’s go to the top Eddie!

  • Groundhog

Used to enjoy it when it was funnier and more related to golf. The now monotonous bigging up (despite the evidence) of Eddie and excuse making is so dull as are his ever increasing range of excuses. Pulling for him would be easier if you ever felt he was giving it somewhere near 100%. The reality is a podcast that has become so predictable and is more about the egos of Andrew and Eddie than anything else.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

A Rai Smile
Q: One final question, just the journey you have been on at every level of this professional game, all the way through up to this now, how do you reflect on that?
Rai describes the progression as a series of increasingly competitive stages, requiring constant improvement, with appreciation for the support system, and the realization that major success is earned through hard work and consistency rather than quick bursts of talent.
The Wood, The Mad and The Club-Tree
Q: What was the mood around Eddie's major performance week?
The hosts describe a mixture of pride and reflection, noting the unpredictability of golf while highlighting Eddie's emotional response and the support from fans and colleagues.
Roreflections.
Q: What stood out most about Rory McIlroy's performance this Masters?
Rory's ability to deliver when the pressure was highest, maintaining focus despite a nervous moment on Saturday and then extracting maximum emotion and energy on Friday, shows why he remains at the pinnacle and how his swing adjustments paid off under pressure.
In Memory of Sewsunker Sewgolum
Q: So what are you having?
Well, there's a chef here that's cooking, but I don't know what he's making.
Laurie and the LIV Life Choice
Q: Did the fact that you had earned a PGA Tour card make it an easier or more difficult decision?
Laurie felt it made the decision harder because it presented two good options: playing on LIV or the PGA Tour.
