  • Fantastic and Necessary

I am very interested in where American Compass is going. We need a return to traditional, conservative Whig politics of the Republican Party. The deregulation, cut taxes and free trade orthodoxy of the monoparty have destroyed the Middle Class and killed the morals, hope and kindness of so many of our citizens as they are seeing their standard of living collapse before them. Let us harken a brand new Washington consensus! ( Which is what we had in the 1800ds that let America grow so great! ) Dow... more

  • Refreshing perspective

Nice to hear from real conservatives on economics finally push back on the libertarian consensus on the right that has existed mostly unchallenged for the last 30-40 years. So much of what is called conservatism today in popular media is actually libertarianism not conservatism.

  • Refreshing

A refreshing viewpoint that makes listeners think about another take on economic conservatism that pushes the boundaries of the conservative status quo. It’s nice to hear someone willing to have a conversation about new approach.

  • Trash

Podcast from grifters looking to make a buck off a manufactured shift in policy attitudes on the right. Planning is planning, whether it’s from ppl we like or not.

  • Interesting ideas about a new way forward

The first episode with Senator Hawley was great. The ideas shared represent a new way forward for American conservatism that abandons the Washington consensus of “economic piety.” The the conditions and opportunities of American workers and families shouldn’t be ignored in favor of cheaper flat screen TVs. The audio of the podcast, though, was not great. It sounded fluffy and the volume was a bit low.
