When I first started reading Heather Matthews’ new book, Confronting Sexism in the Church, I was struck (yet again) by how familiar her story is. Over and over again, I have come to realize that I’m not the only one. So many other women have been tol... more
The wise and hilarious Erin Hicks Moon joined me for this episode and I am thrilled to share it with you! She has written a book on deconstruction called, I’ve Got Questions, and reading it felt like collecting little pieces of home over a cup of cof... more

Love the way Alexis engages with her guests! The conversations are deep, relevant, and thought-provoking.
Alexis is a the host you want to hear on a podcast. She does the pre-work that helps her to ask the right questions, and then she listens for the answer, giving her guests the space to respond without interruption.
The topics are thought-provoking and make theology tangible for the listener who is well-versed and the listener who may be new to the subject’s theological perspective.
Great podcast and great host!
Thought-provoking, intelligent discussions and interesting guests!
Alexis does a wonderful job of creating engaging and enjoyable shows! The episodes that I’ve heard thus far have caused me to think about the topics in fresh ways and have been a genuine encouragement to listen to. Highly recommended if you’re a person of faith who’s interested in thinking and living better!
I found this podcast by way of Drew Hart and Brenda Salter McNeil, two social justice promoters whose work I have recently become aware of. Although it may not be addressed here, I’m hoping to discover new ways to being the Body of Christ (“doing justice”) outside of the walls of institutional church-going, if that’s even possible. Thank you, Alexis!
