Deeply thoughtful and inspiring. Thank you!
Thank you for your discussions and interviews regarding science and faith. As a Christ follower who believes in science, I'm very disillusioned by what the American (white) conservative evangelical subculture (of which I was a part for 35 years) has become and how there's been so much extremist politics and denial of good science, like with vaccines and the need to combat climate change. Your program and organization are greatly needed.
Thank you for your sharing. I was just talking to God before I listened to your podcast this morning and telling him how very joyful I am about Christmas how disappointed I am and the wars and how people behave and just the world we live in. Over the past several years, I’ve been going through many perspective shifts. Part of this has involved my growing awareness of how my thinking had been anthropocentric, utilitarian and dualistic. It has meant so much to allow highly-educated, deeply committed believers on this podcast guide my opening of heart to how connected we (human and other-than-human) beings are, and has allowed my view of God to expand.
For those with open minds, for those with enough humility to admit they might have something to learn, for those unafraid to challenge the standard group-think, and for those either exploring or committed to the Christian faith, this podcast is a gem.
