The Teach Your OWN Kid podcast is an extension of the book Teach Your OWN Kid: Schools Can't Do It Alone, which was released in August 2017. The TYOK podcast is a continuation of Arianne's effort to develop stronger partnerships between the school community and the community's families.

I thank you for this pod cast. This past year was truly the hardest year I've had with my kids suffering academically. Which caused me to reconsider extracurricular activities. This placed an understanding that I needed. Balance has been hard for me as an adult that's why I cause it to be hard on my kids. So this coming school year we will learn together to balance!
