Good podcast. What if Lily had been with Severus instead of James?
The cast announcements for the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series continue to intrigue me. I try to hold my criticism until the show actually airs. You have to keep an open mind about the decisions they make. I just trust and hope Rowling will make the right decisions and not do anything too crazy.
Ultimately the show just isn’t quite what I was looking for. I was hoping for some more extensive discussion of the books and I think it just isn’t possible when one of the hosts is reading them for the first time. The hosts have good chemistry, I was just hoping for more of a deep dive.

I don’t know if you’d want to use Ascendio to get to the surface when diving, especially if you’re really deep. There is a particularly nasty condition called the bends. The reason you have a slow ascent is to prevent decompression sickness. So just propelling yourself up wouldn’t stop nitrogen bubbles from forming in the tissues of your body. It can cause nausea and even paralysis. But I’m sure Pomfrey has something to fix that. Right?
I’d love to see a segment where you cover the various different potion ingredients. Covering what they are, how to obtain them, if they are based on a real thing, whatever you can find. You did the potions so why not the things that they are composed of?
