There were Detachable Cribbing Cuffs that were enchanted cuffs that could be attached to sleeves and allowed for cheating. Banned during O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. The cast announcements for the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series continue to intrigue me. I try to hold my criticism until the show actually airs. You have to keep an open mind about the decisions they make. I just trust and hope Rowling will make the right decisions and not do anything too crazy.
Ultimately the show just isn’t quite what I was looking for. I was hoping for some more extensive discussion of the books and I think it just isn’t possible when one of the hosts is reading them for the first time. The hosts have good chemistry, I was just hoping for more of a deep dive.

It can cause nausea and even paralysis. But I’m sure Pomfrey has something to fix that. Right?

A lively discussion-focused show that revisits the Harry Potter universe through books, films, and broader Wizarding World news and fan engagement. The hosts explore novel themes, character arcs, and lore while frequently mixing audience emails, community segments, and light-hearted humor. The latest episodes emphasize re-reads with new hosts, deep dives into chapters or editions (including full-cast audio versions and tie-ins to broader media), and ongoing coverage of related media like Fantastic Beasts, video games, and merchandise. Noteworthy is the community-driven vibe, active reader emails, and the rotating host lineup that keeps the conversation fresh for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
