Host Rob Gokee, a Los Angeles native & author of the book Tacocity, takes you on a journey of not only taco discovery, but the people who took a chance, and in some cases risked everythin... more

I had this podcast in the queue for a while, and am now devouring episodes like carne asada tacos. There's an almost NPR-like quality to this, which is refreshing while you're sitting in Phoenix traffic, which I know, doesn't even compare to the LA variety, but still... I now have my taco hitlist for my next trip to CA thanks to Rob & Tacocity. Nice work!
I started listening to this podcast to see what’s popping with tacos, I got a history lesson from my hometown and loving this pod cast. You can tell it’s very well thought out 👌🏻 Congrata guys keep up the good work 👏🏻
Tacocity is much more than a taco podcast . It is a narrative bout the people behind the tacos . If you are a taco lover this is the podcast for you . It sheds more light on the stories behind those tasty tortillas , that fiery salsas you go home and dream bout . This is a podcast for those who not only love the taco but are appreciative of the hands that make them .
As a self-proclaimed taco romantic, I have my own personal affection for tacos and the background stories that make them taste all that much more 'sabroso'. One night, out of complete wonderment, I wanted to see if I could find something out there that I could listent to, instead of read, pertaining to tacos. I thought it was silly of me to even think to search for a podcast about tacos. But long and behold, there was TacoCity. Serendipty really. more
Rob knows his tacos. The podcast is the right length and includes top recipes. Just make sure you eat before listening.
I enjoy listening to Rob’s podcast because his point of view is a humble expression of this great food!
Brilliant. Just brilliant. I love the attention to detail and the historical implications. Cultural appropriations have always fascinated me, this podcast does not disappoint.
Everyone likes tacos. OK, I met one person in my life who claimed to not like tacos, but he was an idiot. My point is that this podcast will appeal to everyone. You probably never stop to consider the rich and fascinating life that the chef at your favorite taco cart, truck or restaurant has led. Host Rob Gokee does a brilliant job at guiding you through the colorful backstories of the best taco makers in the country. more
