Have been a fan of the pod since sharing an episode where Rebecca generously promoted a book I was a part of, On Being Jewish Now. Was quickly hooked and empowered by so many episodes--but this Jenny Just interview really moved me! Getting woman to play at the table with this superpower skill and mindset is brilliant. Loved to learn RM has been playing since 13! This is a must listen and share.

Allowing pre-orders when products were sold out, and maintaining clear communication with customers about delivery timelines to keep momentum while expanding production.
From Fired to Fully Booked: How Shani Darden Built a Cult Skincare Brand
Q: What was the turning point that made you realize you had a real brand and product line beyond just a service?
The Us Weekly feature and the rapid sale of retinol in two days made me realize the product could scale beyond services, signaling a real brand and product line.
From Fired to Fully Booked: How Shani Darden Built a Cult Skincare Brand
Q: How did you fund the early growth when there was no money to invest in packaging or launches?
I funded it by continuing to do tons of facials and building the client base; the revenue from services financed the early product development and kept the business moving.
From Fired to Fully Booked: How Shani Darden Built a Cult Skincare Brand
Q: What do you think gave you the confidence to leave the traditional setting and start in your garage/back office?
Jessica Alva's direct, pushy nature gave me the confidence to start; her insistence that I do something and get the business going helped me overcome fear and commit to building the brand from scratch.
The CEO Whisperer’s Playbook for Unlocking Creativity | Dr. Natalie Nixon
Q: Can you explain your Wonder and Rigor framework and how it applies in real-world teams?
She explains toggling between wonder (blue-sky thinking) and rigor (practical, grounded steps) to design spaces, time, and systems that support creative outcomes; examples include identifying true north and guiding teams through specific questions to align on action.
