Not a good podcast anymore. Most of the original hosts are gone. Too much talk about card games now. Just boring. Still better than SHFTS off topic where it is all Hendrix rants, and FM Luder hating everything.
I feel like a bigger traitor than John Wilks Booth for having stopped listening to this podcast for a year. please never retire, SHFTS.
Glad to listen, you guys rock!
Pretty good podcast, krop is the cosplay geek contrasting the varying normal gaming types of bloodshot & co.keep ripping into him guys lol
Have only been listening for a few episodes but I am really enjoying SHFTS. Keep it coming fellas :D
Like listening to friends speak to one another over beers with the occasional duck quack. Hendrix's rants are hilarious; I'd want him on my side in a bar fight. Kropotkin's English properness makes me imagine him in a tweed coat and tie, surrounded by dozens of card collections, maps drawn on graph paper and consoles sitting on shelving ordered by generation. Alphabox, I imagine surrounded by beer cases. Bloodshot Robot is quiet... Probably a ninja.
While not as shiny as the other podcasts, I listen to these guys every week. They keep it simple and fun. Keep up the good work, guys!
Which game is worth your time and which one is not? What's worth watching on TV, the movies or the dark recesses of the intertubes?
Four guys talking about games, and quickly enough you get the feel that they know what they are talking about. They make there talk sessions lenghtly, funny and so casual that you almost forget it's a show.
I'll be honest, at first I was a bit put off by the lack of quality behind the production of the show (I'm a purist), but of the few gaming podcats that I k... more
Both hilarious and thought-provoking, this podcast is always enjoyable to hear. It is also the only podcast I know which has caused explosive diarrhea in both host and listener. And their quacking ducks make me smile. :)
A thoroughly enjoyable, often comical romp into the world of gaming from the SHFTS boys. Each of the hosts offers something different, from the straight up views of the LARPing fan, Kropotkin, the passion for gaming (and bizarre movies) of Alphabox, the rage of Hendrix and one of the most entertaining and funny guys on a podcast, Bloodshot Robot. Each episode will have at least something in there to entertain you. News, views and chatter, SHFTS is unashamedly fun. Subscribe now.
This is one the best podcasts out there and definitely the funniest. If you like gaming, and Ninja movies, you have to listen.
A great example of what can be achieved with a hearty dose of Transatlantic banter, strong opinions and some great video gaming chat. The show boasts a great balance of personalities that compliment, inspire and challenge one-another in equal measure.
There are plenty of good gaming podcasts available, but this stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the very best.
This show is ran by a bunch of juvinile deliquents. And I love it. This show moves at a fast and funny pace. The show host all have a unique style they each bring to the show. You will learn about games, chicks, gaming news, and bad ninja movies. Just check out the show and you will be hooked. Thanks for a great show.
Hendrix always seems to be having an angry rant. Even when he likes something, he doesn't sound happy about it - more like he's still angry, just in a different way. Bloodshot and Alpha have tastes differing too much from mine for their opinions to connect with me. I basically listen to the show for Kropotkin.
