Excellent wide ranging gaming podcast(please stop hating on VR). Scott and Josh’s conversation on Heinz Beans made me finally pull the trigger and write this review. Also some day if I become a crazed billionaire I’m going to buy the Lord of the Rings film franchise and digitally replace Pippin and Merry with Scott and Josh, not to play the characters but full on be themselves. Cheers!

They have an insatiable lust for AAA slop. Methane gas huffers , and sniffers of the video game industry. Don’t buy into their bull.

Volcanic Chicken Mush
Q: What product would you like to see in a game?
A variety of everyday items reimagined as in-game tools or weapons, from Greggs sausage rolls to Tesco meal deals, to illustrate relatable, real-world brands in ways that feel entertaining and non-intrusive rather than blatant advertising.
What's The Worst Launch Video Game Ever?
Q: Sean of the Shed asks about the Rezzy Queen and whether to play the original versions of 2, 3 and 4 before the remakes; what order do you recommend?
They propose trying the remakes first for accessibility, then the originals to grasp the original design intentions and context, suggesting both orders can be informative for understanding the series' evolution.
What's The Worst Launch Video Game Ever?
Q: Stubi 1304 asks, this is my first question to the UBP, which is insanely weird as I've been listening to this podcast since the days of Jules and Scott. Do you collect, trade or play TCGs? Have you backed Kickstarter projects?
Both hosts reminisce about past TCG hobbies (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic) and discuss Kickstarter experiences, sharing how collecting and backing projects intersect with their gaming interests and daily life.
What's The Worst Launch Video Game Ever?
Q: Hello, just wondering, either of you have tried Pokemon Champions this week.
They acknowledge the mixed reception, with one host noting they haven't tried it yet and others leaning toward waiting for fixes and more content, while discussing how the game's competitive scene and card-collecting culture shapes their interest.
Is Remaking Resident Evil: Code Veronica Too Risky?
Q: Would you remake Code Veronica and how would you approach it?
The host sees potential in a Code Veronica remake to connect threads between earlier entries and future installments, but acknowledges it's a risk due to the game's historical reception and sales; if done, it should braid with existing arc and offer strong character roles for staples like Claire and Chris Redfield.
