It's entertaining and sometimes insightful. But simply because of how the "video game journalism" industry works, one's gotta seek out context for anything these people say.
Watched the film The Ugly Step Sister based solely on Lucy’s recommendation and dear god, the worm.
Otherwise solid gaming podcast, highly recommended.
This podcast is great. Thanks to Jake I’ve finally stopped going to bed with my shoes untied. 10/10 would recommend to any fellow game enthusiast.
Ralph decided to say that the Superman movie was naïve in how it tackled the obvious Israel Palestine subplot. Thank you Ralph for exposing yourself as a "fan" of the "genocide is complicated" theory. Over a million children and women being starved, killed, and even raped is not complicated. I will never listen to this show again. Help yourself and stick to gaming.
In an increasingly polarising world where political toxicity invariably bleeds into more areas of online discourse, the FPS podcast remains a steadfast beacon of light where video games and adjacent topics remain the sole focus of the show.
It certainly helps that they have 3 wonderfully talented hosts in Lucy, Jake & Shill Up, often accompanied by guests who actually worked in the video games industry.
Would recommend a listen, even if you only have a passing interest in the video games genre... more
