I'm a 15-year strong listener and have loved the show throughout that time. Unfortunately, the last few episodes have compelled me to submit this negative review. Specifically, I am writing to criticize the show's current ad frequency. I'm not sure if this is the result of poor quality control on IGN's end or simply the harsh realities of podcasting in 2026, but it cannot have gone unnoticed that ads are now an outsized portion of each episode's total runtime. This is the best gaming podcast hands down. This show is perfect for those who love video games. I have followed IGN forever and this is right up every gamer’s alley. My only complaint is that the audio design is a little inconsistent. My favorite podcast to listen to. Also you guys hate on Sam sure he talks a bit much and some of his opinions are a little questionable, but he has more ball knowledge of video games than literally anybody except for Peer and he is for sure the funniest.
