Some managed to escape him, but police believe this good-looking stranger was responsible for the kidnapping, torture and murders of many more young women. The grieving families of his victims refuse to let their daughters and sisters be forgotten, a... more

This podcast was really well done. It was a story I was unfamiliar with. Now I’m searching more from these reporters.
I haven’t listened to the second season yet, but the first season includes extensive research that centers the victims, survivors, and families. Even though some of the details are hard to hear, they’re shared intentionally to possibly connect other victims and survivors. Overall, a well done, ethical true crime podcast, searching for answers and justice.
Why did GRK get the floor for the last two episodes? That was a huge disappointment to me. It was supposed to be centered on the victims but we had to be subjected to glimpses into his bumbling psyche.
As someone who listens to a LOT of true crime, I was shocked by how enamored I am with this show! Incredibly well written, expertly researched, fresh perspectives, and amazing production value. All I want is more!
I love this podcast and the host has such an incredibly soothing yet empathetic tone.
One thing I want to mention about episode #1 that really bothered me was when Brandon said Matt McClure cost a girl her life by being a coward. That is so unfair! It was not his fault, he did what anyone would do, he got help and went back. If we are going to blame anyone, besides the killer, it is the cops for being dismissive and uncaring about Jamie's disappearance. You cannnot blame a 19 year old kid!
