They sold 12 million records, and here you guys are making fun of Stephen Jenkins’ voice, and other and other aspects of 3EB’s music. I found this episode to be pretty damn harsh for nothing. And so I will return the favor, imagine… I used to enjoy this podcast! *drops the mic*
Brian and Hammond seem to have a great time doing this podcast. It’s always enjoyable, even if I don’t like the band they’re covering. I’ve learnt a lot about bands and been introduced to many as well. Worth a listen for sure.
I’ve discovered so many bands listening to Hammond and Brian
I couldn’t get more than three minutes into the episode on De La Soul. The lack of knowledge (and simple ability to correctly pronounce band member names) and veiled racial ignorance and borderline insensitivity was galling. There are so many actually good music podcasts don’t waste time with this one
I love these guys. I don’t always agree with them but he’ll these guys have huge opinions and they can be accurate but I don’t always agree.
