I’ve been listening since nearly the beginning. I think I’m going to have to sunset this show now that they use and talk about generative AI even though they know the many problems with it :( It really sucks that AI is creeping into everything.
Funny how they don’t mention what a train wreck their president Biden is, but they bash republicans daily. If you like to listen to a socialist-racist and a leftist side kick that laughs at the dumb jokes like a stoner, this is the show for you. They seem to like questionable behavior of others and have a clear agenda against Elon Musk or anyone not a communist. Typical Tampon users
Great show, looong time listener. I just wish they’d re-introduce guests for those of us who take prolonged breaks when life gets in the way (or for new listeners!). Who’s Monica? Where’s Gidgit? Has TV’s Travis replaced her? Why has the “call now” been replaced with AI messages?
The vibe between Scott and Brian just works. Listen to a few episodes and see for yourself; it may take some time to pick up on their personalities, but they are top tier entertainment after you get to know them.
I’ve listened to this podcast for many years, as far back as the 2010s I can remember. But lately I can barely make it through episodes. I feel like the things they talk about is rambling or out of touch, or so very specific to them that I can’t relate. I’ll keep listening to give them benefit of a doubt for a while longer, but the spark once there, seems dull now.

A long-running, casually hard-edged talk show centers on tech culture, nerd fandom, and everyday life banter, often mixing guest insights with playful games, audience interaction, and promotional plugs for events. Episodes span AI and technology topics, maker culture, pop culture trivia, travel, and fan communities, all delivered in a breezy, conversational style that leans into inside jokes and shared history. Notable strengths include a strong host dynamic, a recurring guest slate (notably tech journalists and makers), and a vibrant community around Nerdtacular and related Frogpants projects. The show tends to cater to listeners who enjoy nerd culture, witty banter, practical tech discussions, and a sense of belonging to a like-minded com... more
