  • Love the content, but why is it chopped up?

Love the content... But Why is the show always broken into 2-3 separate podcasts? It always cuts off in the middle of the drive and can’t start the second half without getting back on my phone.

  • Good, honest conversation.

Nothing flashy or showy here. Just good, honest conversation about being the kind of man God has called you to be. Most every week Chad and Kurt share their airtime with some solid Godly men who have very practical advice to share. Listening to this podcast feels like being a part of a men's small group. Good stuff.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#535 JD Bergman - From World Class Wrestling to World Class Faith in Action 5/25/26
Q: So JD, welcome to the show, man.
JD responds with warmth, shares gratitude for the invitation, and sets the tone for a discussion about his life beyond wrestling.
#536 Alex Banks - Growing Up Without a Father - and Then Finding Your Heavenly Father 6/1/26
Q: Talk to our listeners about how growing up without a father shaped your view of masculinity and manhood.
Alex explains that the absence created a void and a relentless pursuit of validation, often sought in sports, business, and men around him, but true healing began when he embraced a relational God who fathers the fatherless, leading to healthier leadership and authentic masculinity.
#534 Leadership By the Book (the Bible) With Guest and Author Tom Harper 5/18/26
Q: How do these biblical leadership principles apply beyond church leadership to families, businesses, and teams?
The principles apply in any context—coaching, homeschooling moms, pastors, students, or workplace teams—because leadership is about influencing with character, not just managing a group; outcomes improve when leaders model humility, empathy, and a truthful, biblical framework.
#534 Leadership By the Book (the Bible) With Guest and Author Tom Harper 5/18/26
Q: You've been fascinated with the life of Jesus and leadership. How in the world did that happen, Tom?
I got interested in leadership by studying it in the marketplace after reading John Maxwell, then shifted to the biblical side and discovered servant leadership, realizing Jesus was the greatest leader and that biblical principles underlie modern leadership theories.
#533 An Incredible Story of Radical Redemption, and Forgiveness With Guest Stephen McWhirter 5/11/26
Q: What are you excited about lately?
Stephen discusses new music projects, his book Radically Restored, and continued ministry work, including outreach through WorshipJesus.life and talks about how the book's forward was written by Lee Strobel.
