I listen to all the LAist podcasts or at least give them a try. I wasn’t that excited by this one based on the name and description alone, but I figured I would give it a try, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. I love how light-hearted it is, but also serious, funny but also impactful, and just FUN. Thank you for all your hard work we keep this podcast!
If you insist on having a phone alarm go off, once is plenty. I could go without it personally- never a pleasant sound.
Treadmill sound- like a racing, anxious heart, it gets faster and faster along with the speaking. I can’t think of a time when I turned on a podcast and thought, “I really hope this one gives me a panic attack.”
Not for me.
Congrats on starting this podcast - we are the lucky ones because we get to listen…
I found my way here from Let It Out. I assumed it was aimed at millennials and might not speak to me as a Boomer. But I’ve heard two episodes now and I’m really captivated by the spirit of the show as well as its amazing production values. Megan’s humanity and wisdom know no age limits.
Episode 12 really hit me hard, as someone who lives in a different country that their parents, hearing Megan’s experience of taking care her father and how she comes to terms with her family responsibilities is inspiring to me. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your stories and making others in similar situations less alone. 5/5 would recommend.
