I have visited the Dominica Republic yearly and sometimes twice a year over a ten-year span and saw the Mirabel sisters monument in Santa Domingo many times. I was told that they had led a revolution, but had never learned the story. Thank you for bringing this history to light of these fabulous and fearless women.
