  • Interviews

Wow! Ur interviewing in a super noisy environment! Difficult to hear the interviews. Disappointed in the quality of recording not the content. Tried hard to listen to them all. Macklin 11 minute one was so hard to hear with all the background noise. The second half was a tiny better. Sounds like a room full of people talking at the same time. Are u listening to these b4 u post them? Trying to listen to this years roster! Go Sharks! Excited for this year’s team!!!

  • A Great Great Official Podcast

Too often I have shied away from the “official” podcasts of teams. This one is absolutely worth listening to.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cuda Confidential: Mack Oliphant
Q: What was it like juggling finishing college on a tight timeline with preparing for a pro hockey opportunity?
He describes coordinating with teachers to finish classes while joining the Barracuda, finishing his degree commitments, and the overall sense of achieving a dream in a highly compressed timeframe.
Cuda Confidential: Mack Oliphant
Q: Walk us through why that was the right decision for you to stay all four years at Holy Cross instead of transferring, given the transfer portal has changed the landscape.
Oliphant explains that staying at Holy Cross allowed him to graduate with his class, maintain strong relationships, and build a program-fit path with coaches, which ultimately felt like the best long-term choice for both his education and his hockey development.
Corey Pronman of The Athletic Looks At 2026 Draft and Sharks Potential Picks
Q: If I made you the GM of the San Jose Sharks, assuming Gavin McKenna goes number one, are you going after a defenseman, or are you looking at Stenberg?
The choice would hinge on whether the more valuable pick fits the future lineup, with a close call between Stenberg and McKenna; I'd weigh defensive upside and immediate need against long-term value and the lack of a clear top-tier power-play quarterback, leaning toward defense if the gap is narrow.
Mike Grier Draft Lottery Results Media Availability
Q: How beneficial is it to have two top 20 picks in this first round?
It's a great opportunity to keep adding talent to our group and the organization and potentially have players contribute to the core for a long time.
Mike Grier Draft Lottery Results Media Availability
Q: What does this do for your scouting staff in terms of just opening up options for you guys heading into next month?
The scouting staff has done a great job; with clarity on where we pick, we can dig in even more and know what we're looking for in the next month.
