It’s hard to continue to listen to these guys as they talk out both sides of their mouths. I constantly hear them say things like “this team hasn’t proven itself”, while minutes later, they are making excuses for why they support another team that hasn’t proven they can win it all. That’s just one example. Too many other quality hockey podcasts to bother listening to this garbage.
Typical arrogance from the Athletic.
I am shocked that Pronman’s reason for not including Jacob Fowler (G) in the U23 rankings wasn’t his skating!!! I swear, he would rate a checking figure skater 5 stars before an actual player. I am even happier when players he trashed for their skating succeed. Keep up the good work!
Nothing against the guy, but he takes too much space. I miss the two Sean alone.
Overall, a decent pod covering the league from both the American and Canadian perspectives in a balanced way. I love SG, MacIndoe, Hailey, and Shayna, who offer fresh insights and takes that are sometimes against the grain but usually spot on. Lazerus is brutal.
I think the show would be better off releasing episodes only a few times a week vs daily. I love the NHL but it can be plain vanilla at times and I feel the hosts have to stretch league storylines to fill a full episode every day.
