Overall, a decent pod covering the league from both the American and Canadian perspectives in a balanced way. I love SG, MacIndoe, Hailey, and Shayna, who offer fresh insights and takes that are sometimes against the grain but usually spot on. Lazerus is brutal.
I think the show would be better off releasing episodes only a few times a week vs daily. I love the NHL but it can be plain vanilla at times and I feel the hosts have to stretch league storylines to fill a full episode every day.
You guys are doing great but please talk about different teams but otherwise you are doing great 🟡🐻⚫️
The show is okay, they clearly have knowledge. But they only talk about the same teams, it’s near universally about the East. Blackhawks and Dallas being the only exceptions. The Ducks are getting some love this year because they hired the former Blackhawks coach.
Calgary has had its worst start in franchise history and nothing. Nothing.
There’s simply no real reason to listen to the show if you’re a fan of a team in the Western Conference. The Athletic simply is a shell of its former self.
You guys are doing great
Pronman, Pittsburgh super fans and a rotating cast of other hosts share some truly baffling opinions about a sport they don’t seem to really follow all that closely. 90% of the content seems targeted at “triggering” big market / original 6 fan bases with hot takes and recency bias. The only episodes I can stand to listen to are DGB, Sean, & Frankie otherwise this podcast is hot garbage.
