Dave’s podcast reveals the creativity, experience and craft that goes into the work a studio collaboration requires, and in particular the approach he brings to it. I learn more with each episode, about both my friend and the artists he records. I think this is a great podcast for anyone who is interested in creative collaboration, and making music.
I have long car rides for work and while listening to Dave Cook’s podcasts, I don’t want my ride to end because I want to keep listening! These sessions are so informative, interesting, and calming. You really get hooked right from the start!
Dave Cook is a natural! So pleasurable listening to his podcasts. His guests bring along such interesting stories as well as samplings of their music. Informative, humorous, entertaining… can’t ask for better than this!
I feel like I learned so much about music listening to this podcast. Not only does it include songs recorded and performed by such talented artists, but you get to hear all about their life, influences, and even how studio recording sessions come together behind the scenes. The host has a very fun and playful rapport with the artists. Looking forward to hearing more.
