Self Portraits as Other People is a hyper-creative, psycho-active variety show wherein multidimensional artist, filmmaker, voice-actor, and wordsmyth The Ungoogleable Michaelangelo engages his guests in social storytelling to mindfully and artfully investigate where the limits of language meet the fringes of Reality. Praise The Lore! The show intrepidly treads the terrain of the trickster, constan... more

This, the shortest solo pod to date, relays the frenetically inspiring energy of New York City, as a storied palimpsest of ever evolving Lore. I'm gonna leave it at that and let the piece speak for itself.

A true master of mouth sound creation and mind expansion this podcast is great and I love it, probably goin to go buy some art from his website! If you like cool conscious podcast with amazing soundscapes check this out
This podcast is indeed psychoactive. Michaelangelo has an exquisite ability to weave language in a way that is worthy of clothing the ineffable mysteries of which he speaks. While he explores philosophical and esoteric terrain in an intellectually rigorous way, his heart, sense of humor and playfulness always shine through. If you listen, prepare for a contact high!
Always love to see Michelangelo’s interesting guests, really great stuff. Also the podcast has a lot of care put into it, its well produced and creatively suprising over and over again.
Michelangelo weaves the most laudable aural doodlings , pregnant soundscapes that burrow into your mind and tickle trickling trick treats for the mending and the building of life in wowowowoweeewow
You can tell the host puts so much care, creativity and humor in these pods. I love the themes, stories and sound design of each episode. Always playful, always meaningful.
A unique and well produced podcast on a variety of fascinating topics. 5 stars.
Michelangelo is funny, insightful and hyper creative and it shows in this podcast. It is highly immersive and the production of it is great, incorporating original music and poetry woven into his interviews with a variety of interesting guests, resulting in a florid, rich audio experience. It’s is a great companion on long grueling hikes out of the wilderness when you haven’t slept in days and have been suffering from altitude sickness, as I’ve learned. Bravo. Keep up the good work.
Hey y'all, I wrote this review last night, pre-itunes download, and it's every bit as true:
I listened to my dear friend the YouWishHeWasGoogleable Michaelangelo's podcast yesterday, and the delightful result of nostalgia and admiration compels me to write this review instead of sleep. I've known Michaelangelo for almost a decade, and I've never seen him drop an improv ball, never. Our rapid fire breakfast banter when life allowed us to cohabitate betrayed a sometimes quiet, pensive, mind. How ... more
Love the soundscapes and creative storytelling by the Ungoogleable Michelangelo. Funny show too. Very talented individual with a unique podcast and artistry.
A vivid wordsmith with cunning creativity in sharing stories, psychedelia knowledge, incredible impressions, art, music, hilarious literal LOLing moments, and so many other wonder full moments. Do yourselves a favor and listen!
Excellent word smithing in a theatric mind opening journey! Great job hermano🤠
Words gush from the man behind the screen in an astonishing fluidity that leave much to envy. The crafter of worlds drafting new scenes with each spoken dream. A multi daemon disciplinary technician working the imaginal into the phenomenal, ever so slippery and undeniably quick witted no box will sustain this ever creating creature. This man speaks words unheard pushing the limits of language, encouraging his ever silent listeners to co-create luminal grounds where the fixed meanings of expressi... more
Ungoogleable phrenetic phonetic fanaticism fondling in the dark of unknowability with a sense humor to shed light on the depths of mystery.
Just listen, you’ll love it.
Michaelangelo is the most talented, creative, funny, down to earth multimedia artist around. He’s able to be funny, deep, poetic and profound all in one sentence. He is super quick witted, and intelligent. His art is amazing, the intros he crafts are an experience in and of themselves (with headphones always of course) he’s just such an explosion of raw talent and creativity that is uncontainable and unparalleled. His guests are great, but that’s not the sole reason to tune in. This is an experi... more
