I’m really impressed with this podcast. It’s a fascinating story and so well told. I would’ve given it 5 stars if not for the short episodes!
A lot of time to convey very little info. Filter out the pointless sounds and repeat info and it’s a short listen. In the creator’s defense they are not journalists- that’s an understatement. It’s disjointed and you are left not knowing what is factual or evidence and what is rumor. It was disappointing, although I have to say I did not hear about most of these cases and I traveled this route many times alone during those years for my work. Scary as f@&!.
The podcast just abruptly ends. I feel like there should be a wrap up episode if there isn’t going to be anymore episodes on other cases. I did enjoy it and appreciate the amount of work it must take to produce.
I was hopeful and interested in the cases but it ended up being super annoying to have endless recaps and dramatic fillers, music, phone rings. That‘s all stuff that would usually be cut out and the only reason it‘s kept in this podcast is because there‘s no actual content or information provided. On the plus side we have a very good speaker and a voice that is comfortable to listen to.
I tried so hard to like this but it’s obnoxiously slow and contains almost no actual information. It starts out as just the host and his wife speculating without providing ANY context or back story. I think it’s episode 3 that they finally shed some light with details of the case but still it’s like pulling teeth to figure out what’s going on. Each 15 minute (or less) episode is predominantly filled with recaps, music, false-hope teasers about how *it’s gunna get soooo good*, ads, outro’s, and r... more
