This episode in particular had a heavy vibe inspiration due to a specific song we had on repeat while recording this episode. That song is featured at the beginning of the actual in-world scene in this episode thanks to the permission of the artist w... more

An incredibly unique podcast in all the best ways. Christian and Jeffrey do an amazing job at weaving together a fantastic story from chaotic mechanics! Excellent improvisation throughout, backed up by great narration, characterization, and overall fantastic listenability.
This is a must listen for all fans of TTRPG Actual Play Shows!
Genuinely such a huge fan and supporter of these guys - they’ve carved their own path in the world of DND and have used every resource available to them to break the mold of storytelling through Roll & Tell! I’ve been inspired as a creative and encouraged as a player to be bold and inventive with my choices, as they do every single episode. I’m so behind everything they do and can’t wait to see where they continue to take this podcast!
I love listening to the story as it gets developed from the rolls of dice. Sometimes the rolls seems so fantastically on point with the thread that's being portrayed I think the Die Gods themselves are listening to Christian and Jeffrey and occasionally lean on the scales of chance! :-D
I was immediately hooked by the premise and have only gotten more invested with every episode. Christian and Jeffery are absolutely brilliant at interpreting the randomized story beats, and they’ve developed some truly rich characters. This podcast deserves as much attention as the big actual play podcasts out there!!!
This is my first introduction to play podcasts. It’s so so so good. I highly recommend listening to Roll and Tell!
I love this pod! So fun to discover the story along with the hosts! When something shocking or funny happens you get to hear their genuine reactions. Amazing world building with wonderful characters! Couldn’t recommend this podcast more!
More Whitleby.
I love this adventure, the characters, the suspense, and even the nonsense that the random chaos produces. Well produced, quality play cast.
I’ve never heard a TTRPG podcast like this! It’s really moreish listening to these very talented guys leave everything to chance and roll with it as if it’s nothing at all. Lovely chemistry, great production design and strangely soothing to listen to. Heartily recommend!
Very entertaining and engaging! Wish I could invite over for real!
These two clearly have a great understanding of tabletop RPG and share a game formula that is accessible to everyone! I laughed out loud multiple times while listening. The use of music and sound effects helps to engage your ears further (even with some gruesome squishing sounds). Great fun to listen to and I can’t wait to enjoy their next scene!
This podcast makes roleplaying very approachable and engaging for people who might not be the most familiar with how these games work mechanically. It’s also a ton of fun, as the hosts have great chemistry and lots of creativity to spare! Quite polished and well-produced, too. A great listen, all around!
I haven’t listened to an actual play without a dm before, but these guys are so fun to listen to and really go with whatever they randomly roll. It’s a unique premise and well produced - Definitely recommend!!
I’m really enjoying this so far!
