  • MUST Listen!!!

OMG! This was such an amazing story! Well written, characters well developed. Drama, action, a bit of romance. Nearly had me in tears more than once. I’ll definitely listen to this one again. Can’t wait for the sequel.

  • Outstanding

Really great book. We need more books like this as a podio book.

Even though it is a novel it does have some good information in it. People should pay attention to what could happen.

  • Highly Recommended

I found the 'podcast novel' most enjoyable, listened to the entire book over a three day period. I see the author had stop podcasting the follow-up book, Insurgent, I would like to see him return and complete the work he started. It is a worthwhile project.

  • wow

ive heard the podcast twice, and ive also read the book twice, and every time i am dragged into the middle of it, its so frightening how the he portrays the government getting more and more power. the battle narrations are edge of the chair descriptive, and they always keep you chained to the book, i cant place it down, and i want to read the next page. he is a great writer, but the sound quality is kinda not that great, the voice changes when speaking for the females sounds like static, and the... more

  • Get it!

Excellent book! Keeps you hooked. Offers enough description to feed your imagination, but does not get stuck in the details. Very relevant book for today’s world; really makes you think.

  • Gripping Stuff

Fantastic ! An alternate history ( or fictionalisation ) of the last couple of years in Americas history ....maybe a little closer to the truth than we could or would care to admit to . But , your best to listen to 'prayer at ramalya ' first - it gets you into the Sheehan miles mindset

  • Gerat Story, But...Hard to listen to quality

I have listened to the first four chapters and am interested in the story, but the quality is really, really bad. There isn't any volume control and he must be talking into one of those little stick mics that come with laptops because every time the reader breathes the mic thumps. One second your turning it up all the way to here, then out of nowhere your ears are being blown out, this happens literally in the middle of words. Like I said, sounds like a great story, but I can't get though the aw... more

  • Great story, BUT

I've read the reviews on Amazon and have read some of the reviews here. The general thought is that this is a gripping, suspenseful story. I agree. The story was well told... I cared about the characters. One reviewer on Amazon points out that he was unable to believe in/ care about the characters. I agree Col. Murphy has the worst luck on the planet... but sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction. The sound effects and music were great, but the overall editing needed some help. All in all... more

  • I was enhralled!

This audiobook was thrilling, scary and probably a little too close to the future than we care to admit. I highly recommend this novel. You will not be disappointed.
