  • Perfect

I listen to podcasts at night and so many podcasts are over excitable, loud, and with annoying music etc. this pod cast is exactly what I was looking for. It is history but without the gimmicks. The topics are really interesting. Love this.

  • Fantastic

Truly fantastic podcast. The narration is unique: intelligent, thoughtful, reflective. So different from the many overly excitable, bombastic history podcasts. There is no unnecessary embellishment, no intrusive music or sound effects, just a well-researched, coherent flow of quietly authoritative, thought-provoking monologue. Long may it continue!
