Too many people believe that "believing in Jesus" or "confessing the name of Jesus" is a mental or verbal accomplishment. Reclaiming the faith is a thought provoking podcast about the faith of the earliest Christians compared to the death and practices of 21st century Christians. May Christians today have the same faith and practices that Jesus taught his disciples, and the apostles taught their disciples.
Thank you for your episodes on the Beatitudes and on mourning. It truly touched me. I look forward to listening to many more!
This podcast is amazing! When researching the historical roots of the Christian faith , Phil Baker is one of my favorite teachers to listen to. I am absolutely hooked on this podcast and try to listen to 2 to 3 episodes each day. Thank you Phil for all your hard work and studying! I am learning a ton!
My brother in Christ, Phil, has a true mastery of what the early church believed; how what is taught and done in church today is far from the teachings of Christ and what those early believers understood. He has a wealth of knowledge to help you make a course back to the true roots of Christianity and the Word of God, the Bible.
